I'm so happy that CrochetMe has a crochet related forum! I love forums and haven't found too many crochet ones.

I'm a knit and crochet designer. My mom taught me how to crochet when I was 8, and I learned to knit about 3 years ago (I'm 26). I've been working at Classic Elite Yarns as the graphic designer and a knit/crochet tech editor for about 2 years and I LOVE working in the yarn industry. I've recently started tech editing for Interweave Crochet and love that equally as much. Classic Elite has been more knitting related... but I'm working on getting more crochet designs into their mix. My crochet pattern writing confidence has risen since I started helping out Interweave Crochet. It's certainly been keeping me in crochet mode more often. I'm hoping to be able to get more crochet patterns made up for all of us neglected crocheters!

Yay for the crochet revolution!!!

Here's my blog.

How cool that you work with yarn! What a dream job! The designs on your blog are beautiful. Will you be making some patterns for us? (hint hint!)

I'd love to say that I definitely will, but it all depends on if the time fairy's decide to add a couple more hours into each day.

Right now I've been working on free crochet patterns for Classic Elite's weekly Web-Letters. That takes up quite a bit of time. Maybe once we get ahead on these I'll come up with something especially for CrochetMe.

You are truly blessed to have such skills and such exciting opportunities through your jobs. I look forward to seeing patterns from you as well as tips and advice.

I'm a crocheter who has just recently tried my hand at knitting and am having a hard time getting the yarn to loosen up so it will

slide on and off the needle. Any suggestions on improving my skills? Or can't you answer because this is a crochet forum?

Thanks for any help you can give me.
