Hi. I just joined this website and I am really happy to have found somewhere to turn for crochet. There are lots of resources for knitters but this is the first I have found for crochet. I haven't been crocheting for very long. I taught myself about 18 months ago and have enjoyed it since. My mom taught me to knit many years ago (if you ask my kids it was in the stone age):)

Ah yes, the stone age. I'm quite familiar with the stone age. That was back before the internet was invented and back when computers were the size of small homes.

And do you remember that you had to entertain yourself? Barbies and knitting were good entertainment items.

Oh yes, I thought we were quite good at entertaining ourselves. Aside from making stink bombs out of our beginner chemistry sets, knitting, crochet and sewing were great distractions.
