Hello everybody!
I'm so glad to see the site has come out of its deep sleep and I'm eager to see what all is new here.
Congratulations to Kim Werker, our hostess, on her new job, editor of "Interweave Crochet".
Me - I've been crocheting and knitting more off than on for, well, a very long time. I'm retired with more time on my hands, so I picked it up again.
- A very cute tea cozy, pattern from a blogger in New Zealand (or Oz?). It's also effective and keeps my tea warm.
Now, off to explore the site, looking for more changes.
hi there- I made the chanson en crochet too- wasn't it fun? I'm also very very glad to see the new crochetme site...
marykz, have you worn yours yet?
Not yet- mine is out of a heavy worsted wool and I plan to put it over my winter coat as sort of a "collar"- I want to make another ouf of a lighter weight wool or wool blend or even a heavy cotton...

you can see I modified the last few rows- I didn't like the flower motif so I repeated the shell/fan instead.....
uh, I can't tell if the link works properly- if not, I'm marykz_marykz on flickr and it is on the second page of pictures.
It works. It didn't open in my browser though, it opened in my photo editing program.
I was planning to make that as a collar or shawl for my winter coat as well.
Your link works in its way, and your pattern mod is very effective!
