Well, last night I had my first dream about crochet. I guess that means that I have become addicted enough that it has entered my subconscious.
In my dream I was working on an afghan and the last half ball of my yarn had come undone and frayed. Someone pointed to it in shock and asked what I was going to do, I just looked at it and said, guess the last bit of this blanket will look kinda cool.
just thought it was interesting. Anyone else have these hokey dreams? Laters, all!

I must confess that I have crafty dreams, too. The kind that wake me up and then I have to go right to work on the very thing I was dreaming about.
Sometimes the dreams will solve the problem I was having with a particular project.
Who knows why we really have these dreams. I have decided that doing crafts for a living was my particular dream come true. (It sounds better than blaming it on what I ate before I lay down)
My last one was about making clay with flour and salt and in my dream I didn't spend enough time kneading the dough before I put it in the plastic bag and it was going dry on me and crumbling. I woke up very thirsty. You're right--dreams can be kinda hokey.

once, when the morning alarm was going off I rolled over and asked David to hit the crochet button instead of the snooze button
