Hi everyone!

I started crochet last year after going to my friend's house for coffee and sitting all day reading her Stitch n *** Crochet book!

I don't have lots of time so tend to try accessories like hats, scarves etc.

I've used a lot of patterns from this site for Christmas presents and always had good comments about them.

I'm looking forward to getting a bit more involved.

I agree, small projects are better. I mentally wander off from larger projects, even the ones I love. Which have you made from this site?

Welcome! I know what you mean about small projects (although big ones are good): at the moment they're what's getting me back into the craft after a six-month hiatus. Quick, satisfying results are what I need right now!

I'm making a tank top right now! :D Small projects are very... satisfying to make.

Hm. If I were to make a tank top in my size it'd be a HUGE project.

Hello everyone.

To answer your question,Pauline, I started off making a hat from the Professional pattern for a friend who was going on a winter holiday. Her other friends liked it so much I got asked to make 4 more!I've also made the Belliveau hat and Gulf shore hats, and the Cool Warmth scarf.!

They just make up so well,in one night, and I don't have to go out and buy wool.I can just use my stash.

I think I'd like to make something and keep it for myself for once!

I'd really like to try the Versatile giant Snowflake pattern.I've had my eye on it ages!

Nice choices. That snowflake is so intriguing.
