Hi Everyone,

I have just picked up Doris Chan's "Everyday Crochet" from the library and I have fallen in love with it! It has beautiful, yet simple designs and I love the way she converses with the reader.

It is this love for Chan's work that makes me ask the following question: Can I crochet the garments in her book and sale what I make at a craft show?

I have come to realize that each designer, publisher, and magazine allows buyers to use their published material in different ways. So I am wondering if any of you know what is the best way to ask "Everyday Crochet"'s designer and publisher (Potter Craft by the way) for permission to use the patterns.

Thanks! Becky
