I just have to say that I have entered myself in the Yarn Smackdown starting August 8th! I have never done anything like this, but I think it is a hoot. I guess yarn sports could use a little competitive edge! All in good fun of course( insert Dr. Horrible's evil laugh!!) Anyone else doing it? I entered the amigurumi event and the food fight. Wish me luck!! Oh yeah, my warrior name is Ms. Busyfingers.

This is hilarious and I just had to share. This morning I received an anonymous e-mail from "My Toaster" in the Smackdown. She's says she's sharpening her needles and thinking of me! LOL!

I'm revvin' up my hook for the food fight. I have the day off, so as soon as the pattern goes up, I can start makin toast! Yahoo! This is so fun. My fingers are nimble from the warm up amigurumi I did recently. Check her out - the busty rennaissance doll!Good luck!

DARN! My toast is already on its way to Massachusetts, but I forgot to take a picture! I added brown edge on top and a slice of butter! LOL!

I wasn't able to complete the crocheted hat on time though. I'll send that out early tomorrow morning, but I'll put up a picture once I'm done!

I can't believe some people finished and were able to mail it today, though! Mine will have to go out bright and early tomorrow morning.

At least I remembered to take a picture of it. :)
