I'm not new to crochet but I'm new to getting online about it. I've discovered a new world I didn't know existed and this looks like a great corner of it at CrochetMe.com.

I just found out about the "magic circle". Found some pics but I need a video showing how to hold my yarn, fingers, and hook. Can anyone recommend one somewhere?

I also need a hair bun cover (in my possession) deconstructed for me (and I will pay $18 all I've got) to anyone who can figure it out). I can't figure it out and I've asked everywhere on the web I can find a crocheting outlet. I'm indigent (no home, no income, disabled) and someone will pay me to make them if I can figure out the pattern. Can someone help? Thanks and glad to be here!

magic circles are great.

Try looking up crocheting on youtube, thats how I learned how to hold yarn!

If I find any good links I will post back here again.

Good Luck!!!

For the bun cover you might want to look in your local library (a really good resource for crochet info in books though) for a book on it. I found a book that included bun covers at one point but I don't have the pattern. I think it was called 'Get your Crochet on' or something like that. If you can find that in your local library and then look at the pattern I am sure you will be able to make them. I also agree with pp about finding them on youtube.

Good luck!

you also might try, under 'stitches' at crochetpatterncenteral.com. That was where I found good photos of how to do the magic circle.
