Hi, I am glad I have found this site. I am not only a crocheter but a knitter as well. Some days I wish I had 4 hands so I could do both at once. It seems that when I have a crochet project going I want to knit something and can not wait until one is done.

Well, I hope to be able to keep up with everyone else and to learn a lot from all of you.

Hi Cathmom49,

Like you, I both knit and crochet. I'm beginning to think the process of knitting is a bit more soothing than crochet. Maybe. I almost never do pure single crochet, so forming crochet stitches takes a wee bit more concentration. Of course, I almost never do pure garter or stockinet either, so maybe I'm comparing apples and oranges.

Glad you're here.

Hi Cath,

Nice to meet you. I don't knit myself, would love to learn as soon as I master a bit more about crocheting.

mad for crochet! Hi! I can't wait to see some of your crochet! I am in the middle of very slowly and halfheartedly learning to knit. Can't seem to keep hold of those two pointy sticks - and my stithes keep slipping off!hee hee - back to the hook!!
