First hello

I just registered for the site and wanted to give a quick "hi" to all the talented folks here. I jumped back into crochet after a very long break (learned as a child, made an afghan in college - yup, it took all 4 years, then a blanket many years later and over 10 years ago) and now am crochet-obsessed (3 dozen scarves, 6 tops, 2 shawls, 2 finger puppets and a ruana in less then 6 months). Most recently I had been papercrafting and rubberstamping so I have lots of gorgeous yarns (or "fibers" as I had been calling them) that I have been playing with in addition to finding a great selection of yarn from clearance racks and at a local going out of business sale (part of the fun for me is the scavanger hunt aspect of finding yarn, then deciding how to use it).

What do you mean yarn doesn't count as a medical expense? Crocheting is theraputic and helps me keep my sanity!
