For those of you who have used this yarn do you find that the colors bleed at all? I am making a sweater with a light color purple and a dark purple and am worried that it will bleed if washed in the washing machine. I googled and could not find anything. So does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks guys.

The first afghan I ever made was with simply soft. It used light and dark country blue as well as black. I haven't had a problem with color bleeding at all. The light blue is still light blue.
Thank you! That has totally set my mind at ease!

I'll second that. I use SimplySoft all the time and I have never had any problems with bleeding or fading.

I just about bought some simply soft today, but it back cause I was running over what I had to spend. I'll pick it up next time though. It looked like a yarn I'd really like.
I love simply soft! The color selection is great and I found I can order it online but it costs a bit more if I do that. But they do have a better selection. I am thinking about placing an order with hobby lobby to get the colors I want after I use the colors they have already. Gotta start going on mondays when they restock so I can get a good selection.
I love it. Made a black and white afghan, no bleeding of colors. It's much softer than normal 4-ply.
Projects I've made with Simply Soft have washed well with no bleeding. Not only is the yarn super soft but it has great draping properties. With this yarn you get your money's worth in yardage as well. Best of luck with your sweater.
