I've never worked with wool yarn. And, now that felting is all the rage, I'm scared of wool. How do I know that something I make won't end up all felted together? I have found some wool yarn that looks just lovely, but I'm scared to try it. Any links to instructions about working with wool or any hints that you have would be greatly appreciated. Any links to felting instructions would also be appreciated, since I'm scared of that too!

:-)

mad for crochet!

As long as you don't throw it in the washer and dryer ( just gently wash it in warm - not hot - water) then wool is quite easy to care for. It actually takes quite a bit of work to felt by hand.
