I wasn't sure how this would turn out. I used a Fair Isle pattern I found on the web and then designed a purse for it. I need to get my sister to line it for me and add a pocket!
Hardcore? Hardcore is for babies. I'm HOOKCORE!
That looked great before, unfelted, and looks great now, too. Congratulations. I like the fair isle pattern, too. I'm trying to figure out the handles. Is it a long green and a short pink?
Thanks. I'm really in love with it. Yes, there is one short pink handle and one long green handle. You loop the green through the pink to keep it closed. I was pretty happy that worked out as well.
Woohoo! Beauty!
oooo, but if you line it, you'll miss the pretty inside!

(Let's face it, with 3 kids under 6, 2 bulldogs and one hubbie, crochet... it's a sanity thing.)
You know, I tried to say the same thing about my pants but they still arrested me.
you did an awesome job on this :D
Oh - this is very, very cute! Great choice of color and pattern.
I think I might make another one.
On another note, I made this with cheap wool yarn, Kashmira from Sensations which I think is just Joann Fabric's house brand. It really felts nicely and isn't very bulky.
So pretty well done.
Bubbo,
This bag deserves putting the pattern in the Pattern section.

I can put the purse pattern in, but the fair isle design chart came from a web site. I could maybe link to that chart, but I don't want anyone to think I came up with that, just the purse.
