My hands are always cold. That's why I always wear arm warmers. I got the pattern for these in Afya Ibomu's book "Fly Tops and Funky Flavas", which I love!!! Her work is really cool and the instructions are always easy to follow for beginners like me. Anyway, here they are

Very cool! Do they really help keep your hands warm? Mine are cold a lot too especially in the winter when on the computer or crocheting and I've been meaning to try to make some of these! Yours turned out beautiful!

Those are the ultimate in arm warmers, they look great too. I've never heard of that book, I think I'll check it out.

Thanks everyone for your comments

That book is worth buying. You can get it at Amazon for less than $15 i think. Afya Ibomu also has another book called "hips hats cool caps" that has really nice looking, you guessed it, hats. Easy to follow instructions too.

Theresa, yes, they keep my hands warm, as I have bad blood circulation in my arms. So when sitting at the computer for hours, they definately help, without getting in the way of my typing fingers! It's just like leg warmers keep my feet warmer than socks! Weird, but true.

If your hands get REALLY cold, you can always make them to cover higher up on your hands. Just add a few rows passed the thumb hole!
