I've finally finished a shawl I've been making for my friend. (It's only a little bit late - 3 weeks and 2 days). But it's done, it's washed and it's wrapped and ready to go.
I used 3 ply wool and a 3.50mm hook. The pattern is a hayfield pattern.
My patience with the computer has just been exhausted and I can't work out how to put a picture of it on here (asking hubby when he gets home) - but I did manage to upload a couple of photo's onto flickr, if you want to see.

I hope that works.
I'm off to start something else. Yippeeeee!
That's gorgeous, looks like a frilly doily. When the baby outgrows it, momma can put it on one of those little round tables where it will be an elegant cloth.
It looks almost like cotton thread, but I suspect you used fingering/sock weight yarn. True?
You're missing a '/' just before the 'www'. If you'll edit it, the link will be clickable.

Oh, this is stunning. What a lot of work it must have been, and how rewarding to finish! I bet momma just loves it! I know I sure do!
Thank you very much. The last row felt like it was going to take forever - I found lot's of chocolate at regular intervals helped.
