Here's two hats I just completed for my friend Julie's baby. She's not born yet and already had a bunch of hats!!! I can't stop!!! The first is from the book "Too Cute Crochet". I can't remember the name they gave it in the book, but I decided to call it the Rosehip Hat after a comment from my husband. It's made of cotton and had the advantage of keeping the sun away while not being too hot cause of the "vent holes"! The second hat is just an improvisation.

Those are great hats. The stitches in the Rose Hip hat are intriguing.
