This took me forever to figure out. I made about three versions of him until I came up with this one. I'm still not extremely happy with the turnout, but I figure it's the most decent one out of all the rest.

Well, it was a commission from a friend of mine. I asked her what color she wanted it to be, and she said she liked turquoises, pinks, lots of vibrant colors. Well, pah! Good thing I had this yarn lying about. (: I thought it was perfect for her.

She named him Keith McLaggen, the Scoctopus (hah, portmanteau of octopus and Scot). He's a classy little guy who enjoys drinking his tea while reading the newspaper every morning.

Tell me what you think! I might add better pictures later (the lighting in my room isn't all that great)

I'm also working on a demon baby that I'll post later.

Cool. I don't know how you did it, but you've captured the essence of octopus - the body, the way the legs coil. Bravo.

Oh, thank you to you both! I'm glad I was able to capture the true essence of the octopus--I was afraid he would turn into a nightmarish plush toy that only grandmothers would find cute.

Well, obviously that's not the case.
