The pattern actually came from Stoller's Stitch and *** Crochet: The Happy Hooker. I decided to try my hand at a sweater, considering that I usually stick to projects that give me near-instant gratification, like amigurumi and handbags.
Enjoy! :D

Wow! Beautiful jacket. I had to look closely and make sure it wasn't an amigurumi you wearing it! Just teasing. You've got some skills!!!
mad for crochet!
This is lovely. Great job! I was thinking about buying this book- do you like it?
Wow, perfect fit! Love the color, too. Great job!
Your jacket is gorgeous. Well done. Although the title says Ocean Avenue Jacket, I have the book and it is listed as Prepster Preppy Spring Jacket, although the collar, lapel and button placement is different on yours. And suits you. I wish I had your figure. The jacket in the book has a little ease, yours has none, by the looks of it and it looks fabulous on you. You do have excellent skills! I wish I could do and wear it. Beautiful!
To SarahCrit: Thanks! And if I was posting another amigurumi, you'd know it. ;p
To IngridSera: Thanks! :D
To mmf: I checked it out from the local library but I would definitely buy it if I had the money right now, and I would definitely recommend that others do.
To Shazzade: Yes, I changed the title. I typically name my crochet project postings after songs. It's just a quirk I have. Besides, after my experiences in junior and senior high school, the word "preppie" brings up all sorts of unpleasant connotations.
I once borrowed a pattern book from the library where all the projects were named after movies the author liked
This is beautiful. How can I get the pattern? Kim at kimrich2008@hotmail.com
