and then there are these. That I don't seem to be able to make enough of.
:o)
I had a couple of other colors too that I gave away as gifts.
Oh my goodness - you do make shawls!! They are all lovely and luxuriously long. Tell us about the yarn, did you use a pattern? Details! I want details!!
mad for crochet!
OK, Now you know I quit smoking - so I've gone a little more than nuts on crochet to replace it. We'll try to give you all the details. :o)
Thank you!! No I didn't use a pattern, It is my own. I'd start a new stitch I thought was cool to try and they end up shawls because they are easy. (hehehhehe) I design them the way my Mom taught me when I was about 5.
The yarn is all from mill ends. An acrylic yarn created from recycled plastics. (I like the recycled thing. and the mill ends are cheap cheap. you may not get the colors you want but the quantity is wonderful!!) ShopCaron.com :o)
They were almost all made using two strands of worsted weight at a time with a P hook.
The last one: the two toned one was made from the same great worsted weight yarn, just a single roll at a time and I used a K hook.
I love the yarn because its recycled, cheap and machine wash and dry. Perhaps the cheap beyond all other things, because as you've seen, when I get going...
I think that covers it. Were you looking for a pattern? I'm not very good at them yet, but these I believe I could.
