I just finished Linda Stoll's felted rose bag from this site. I love it, although I think I probably need to send it through the washing machine another time or two. I chickened out after three times--this is my first felting project.

I made it using Malabrigo yarn chunky, in cadmium. The blue flowers are also Malabrigo yarn chunky, but I forget what the color is called.
It's a terrific pattern, and easy enough for a new-ish crocheter like me to whip up in a jiffy.
Cute bag! I haven't tried felting yet, although, I have been eyeing a felted crochet book at the craft store. Is it a little dicey throwing it in the wash?
Wow! That is gorgeous! I'll have to get the pattern and try it. You did a really good job. I've never felted. guess it time to try.

Thanks, guys! It was really fun to make.
Hi, lovely work, I like the bright colours. I tried a bit of felting but haven't done any of my own stuff yet just a kit that my daughter got.
