Felted Rose bag

I just finished Linda Stoll's felted rose bag from this site. I love it, although I think I probably need to send it through the washing machine another time or two. I chickened out after three times--this is my first felting project.

I made it using Malabrigo yarn chunky, in cadmium. The blue flowers are also Malabrigo yarn chunky, but I forget what the color is called.


It's a terrific pattern, and easy enough for a new-ish crocheter like me to whip up in a jiffy.

Cute bag! I haven't tried felting yet, although, I have been eyeing a felted crochet book at the craft store. Is it a little dicey throwing it in the wash?

Hi, lovely work, I like the bright colours. I tried a bit of felting but haven't done any of my own stuff yet just a kit that my daughter got.
