Jewel: half done

Half done, a week into it, and nobody wants to play along on the crochet-along forum so I'm checking in over here! I'm really liking this (even if I have had to redo many rows because I can't remember to turn after each row, forgot to read the pattern, or otherwise make dumb mistakes). I've used 4 of my 8 balls of yarn (Sirdar Snuggly Baby Bamboo, 80% bamboo, 20% wool). I figure one more ball for each sleeve and two more for body. It feels great on; very cushy, springy fabric, comfortable and just enough stretch/cling to look good.

Hey it's looking good. I don't see any mistakes. I'll have to pick up that book - after I use some of the new books I just got, LOL.

That's beautiful. The line is very pretty, and I just know that the bamboo blend must be delicious.

Thank you! I've actually almost finished and Doris Chan has been very helpful over in the Crochet=along! I'll post a "finished" picture when I've added a bit to the sleeves! It feels GREAT!

It's almost done! Just have to wait for it to dry. I blocked and then decided the sleeves needed to be longer. Pix over on the crochet-along forum. I'll post a picture here when it's really, truly done!
