Here is the sweater from the cover of the Crochet Me book except that mine is in green instead of blue. The first pic shows a close up of the pretty stitch pattern and the second pic is to show the shape of the sweater so far. The arms seem really weird because you are supposed to add them little by little with a few stitches at the end of each row. I hope I'm doing it right and that eventually they will look more like arms!

Looking good. I think that's all going to work in the end.
Sleeves are wider at the shoulder than at the wrist, so you have to get the triangular part on it somehow.
OK, you're trying to kill me. No book anywhere here yet.
I've flushed a very unappealing green.
Never fear, the sleeves shall work out.

(Let's face it, with 3 kids under 6, 2 bulldogs and one hubbie, crochet... it's a sanity thing.)
Earlier this week I bought a bunch of crochet books and completely forgot about this one. Now I fear I may have exceeded my reasonble crochet budget and won't be able to buy it when it comes out!!!
Hardcore? Hardcore is for babies. I'm HOOKCORE!
I preordered Crochet Me from Amazon, along with a couple of other books...Gourmet Amigurumi/Beth Daughtery (sp?) and The New Crewel (Forgot who the author is).
I really can hardly wait for ANY of them!
Woo-Hoo! I got my book on Friday!!!!
We are always are worst critic! I think it looks great!!! I just love the color!
I love the color! I'm sure the arms will work out fine. It looks great so far!!!
What's the status of this project? I'd be very interested to see a current photo?
Oh that's looking good!
I'm planning to make that myself once I've finished my current project. It'll be great to see how yours turns out first.
I'm working on this same pattern. And as best I can tell, it's even in the same color! But don't worry, I doubt anyone will see us at the same time while we're wearing our wraps :-)
How are you progressing?
- Wendy
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!! I was going crazy trying to figure this out. Your pictures explain sooooo much.
