I'm making this one for my sister-in-law. I have started with a band of hexagonal blocks which will sit around the hip area. I'm now working up and down from there. The bottom is mostly done, although it will need a border of some sort. I am now working on the top part.

That's imaginative and a bold use of color. I expect it will look great on your lucky SIL.

I like this. Its an interesting use of an old standby like a hexagon.
