I've been working on an epic project for my brother as a housewarming gift. I've designed a Mario Brothers afghan and this is how it's going! I'm super excited!

I think I speak for the entire Nintendo generation when I say that this is probably one of the coolest crocheted pieces I have *ever* seen. Can't wait until you add the characters. I have to admit though, I'm a little confused about how it's put together. Is it all single crochet and then... embroidered or something on top? How the heck did you do the question box? I am super impressed. I want one. :)

You guessed correctly, Lex. It's all single crocheted with main shapes and then I'm basically cross-stitching details to the top. Check me out at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/thomcatdesigns
