this is a cape I am making with yarn that I dyed with plants, starting from the middle:

St. John's Wort flowers, onion skins, lichen, cedar needles, rhododendron leaves, a test skein of a whole bunch of different things.

Thanks, Got-Yarn. I had fun with this cape and I entered it in the local ag fair. Pulled in third prize! It is my design although I was inspired by another shawl I saw somewhere. There are more pics on the FO page of this forum of it finished and blocked.

The pictures of the finished cape are beautiful. Though blocking isn't as fun as the stitching part, it looks like it gave a wonderful lace look to the cape. Congrats on your win and beautiful design.
