this is a cape I am making with yarn that I dyed with plants, starting from the middle: St. John's Wort flowers, onion skins, lichen, cedar needles, rhododendron leaves, a test skein of a whole bunch of different things.
mad for crochet!
Your cape is beautiful. What a spectacular pattern. Is this your design? Absolutely gorgeous.
Got-Yarn
Thanks, Got-Yarn. I had fun with this cape and I entered it in the local ag fair. Pulled in third prize! It is my design although I was inspired by another shawl I saw somewhere. There are more pics on the FO page of this forum of it finished and blocked.

So pretty be very nice when finished.:)
Fantastic dye job! Have you tried Turmeric?
The pictures of the finished cape are beautiful. Though blocking isn't as fun as the stitching part, it looks like it gave a wonderful lace look to the cape. Congrats on your win and beautiful design.
