Thankyou Sarah have crochet for 12and half inches and now picked up stitches to knit rest to arm shape.
So it will be a band of knitting, a band of crochet, then knit? Looking forward to more photos.
I like your colors. Normally I prefer brights, but this season and this economy seem to call for more somber hues.

A bit more done ,have now cast off and away to crochet to neckline as you can also playing with button .
