Shades of plaid scarf

I thought pink, black and white worked together. The more I work on this scarf, the more I think it would work well for a porn star... I'm questionning my color choice...

Anyhow, here's what I have so far.

I still have to weave in the chains. I might add three in white and two in black, instead of three in black and two in white, to make the contrast a bit less... well... contrasty!

What do you think?

(I'm willing to start over if anyone agrees with the porn thing, by the way)

Porn? That's too harsh, but I agree that the color scheme is such a natural that it has been overdone. How about introducing more colors? Gray would be safe. Green would be current. Maybe two tones of green. Plum? Orange! Yellow? No, not yellow. Unless you discover you love it, of course.

You could weave the new colors crosswise as well as lengthwise.

I'll look in my (overflowing, but not with the right yarn) stash of yarn (located in three spots, due to it's uncontrolable expansion). Ok. I admit it. I'm a yarn addict. But who isn't, right?

Yarn addiction comes with the territory. I've done a couple of black, pink and bright yellow/gold squares. They look rather cool.

Yeah, I ended up adding pink, white and emerald green chains, which worked perfectly. I have problems with Flickr right now so I don't think I can upload the photo. I wish we could upload photos directly from our computer... 

The scarf is in the mail right now, for a X-mas gift. 

I'll post the pic when I get Flickr working again!
