That and it gives me the chance to practice with lacy stuff.

I'm just winging it. I've kept a binder of stitch patterns that I don't yet know how to do, been looking through that for inspiration. I have a general idea what I want it to look like and :o) here we are!!!


Is that what you meant by 'free form' lace?

The perfect craft that can be made in hand and can also be given as gifts. Usually my friends admire the gifts mostly that are personally made and I have now found a way to surprise them. In normal circumstances I would have relied on the San Jose tree service for nice gifts but I can go for a change this time.
