I LOVE, LOVE the chainless foundations. I'm having troubles though with joining a chainless foundation (either sc or dc) into a tube (i.e. for socks or for gloves.) I fudged it a bit for some gloves I made for Christmas gifts, but would like to know if anyone has figured this out. It's especially tricky when working a dc chainless foundation.

Thanks!

The easiest way I've found to join, for ex.   say you're making dc stitches....when you are making you last dc yo and put your hook in the foundation stitch, leave the hook in the foundation stitch and put the hook into the first foundation stitch, yo and finish you dc, then slip stitch into the beginning dc to join at the top. Hope this helps.

Heard about this techinque in a mag - of course don't remeber which one, any ideas on a good instruction book for the Chainless Foundation Round?

Thanks for your help,

Thank you, thank you, thank you.  Have been asking that question on and off for several years and finally found your answer.  It works! ! !
