For anyone who takes the newspaper (I do), the clear (usually) plastic bags that the carrier puts the paper in, is ideal for small to medium projects. The Sunday paper of course is the biggest. I'll put a copy of instructions and my yarn (all of it if it will fit) into the bag, then put it in my tote bag that I take to work. I also will put a pattern and yarn together - because I'm good at buying a certain yarn for a certain pattern, then forgetting what goes with what. As soon as I have them both, right then I've learned to put them together! Also, some of the baking bags and crock pot liners that are clear will do for a larger project. I ride paratransit to and from work (I don't see well enough to drive) and might be on the bus 30 minutes to over 2 hours - so I always have at least 1 WIP with me!
