Hi All,

I started my shawl. I decided to use a #3 yarn I had left over from another project as I have not done a shawl or worked with lace yarn before. I know it's a little puffie, but from what I have read that should get fix with blocking. So far so good I think.  Jill

Hi everyone,

I'm a little late starting, but I'm looking forward to diving in this week!  I'm planning to use Supersock Lace, 100% superwash merino by Cherry Tree Hill that I purchased at the Knit and Crochet show in Manchester NH this summer.  It's beautiful variegated shades of navy, plum and lavender.

Now to do that swatch!

Has anyone seen the Zephyr in Aegean?  I'm pretty impressed by the color as it appears on my screen:

I may have to go with this (although any decision at this point would be helpful).

It looks pretty !  I am going to start mine today.  I needed to finish my Christmas presents before I would let myself start on the shawl.

I've made some progress on mine as well, but I have about twelve thousand other projects that I started around the same time, so it's slow going. I'm hoping all that puffiness will work itself out with blocking.

I love that people are sharing pictures.  They are beautiful and great.  Thanks also for the information on Row 3 I believe taht is the row that was not clear to me - I was at a craft festival this past weekend and bought new yarn and going to wind today and hope to get started.  So much going on and so many projects to get going.  Love the season.
