I have been working up the cap for about a week now and keep getting caught on rnds 24-25. At the beginning of round 24, it says to ch 5, which is fine. The problem comes in when I start round 25. It says to ch 3, there is not enough space given to the previous round to allow the ch 5 to spread out. It gets all bunched up under the ch 3 and is not becoming at all.
I have ripped out this section multiple times trying to get it right, but nothing seems to work. Any advice, ideas suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Oh and I did look for corrections @ interweavecrochet.com/corrections.asp and there were none for this pattern.
TIA,
Brittany
I am having the same problem as well! I tried to continue making the cap using the photo as an example to go by and made "corrections" by assumption and by sight. and managed to keep the 120 stitches from round 21 all the way to round 27. Then I got caught up on round 28. It mysteriously drops down to 96 stitches again!! Aggghhh! Would someone please post corrections on here for this pattern. It is such a beautiful piece. We will loose our minds trying to figure it out!
Thank You!
Rhonda
I have made this pattern twice now and i love it, i am not sure what is going wrong for you.
you need to look at the patterns it makes
I have and it still didn't work. Currently this project is in my UFO bag, but since there is finally someone here responding, I will dig it out today and take another look at it with fresh eyes. Thank you caladenia for your reply.
sorry my reply wasn't more helpful..............i will dig out both the pattern and the hats and look......i seem to recall that at the start of one row (may have been 25) that i had to do it differently to hte pattern as the pattern did not work. i am currently on my way out the door. :)
cheers
