This is number two! Thanks for liking my fish...now I will try this one. I like yours also.
:o) Life can be so tough sometimes it's laugh or cry soooooo I smile!! :o)
HumorMe...long time no speak! :o)
We have had a whirlwind of upsets here in my NC home...and I'm not talking about basketball!! :o)
My husbands mom was diagnosed with inoperable pancreatic cancer and is now going into hospis.
They found two spots on an MRI on my lower back. They ended up being cysts with spurs on them...VERY painful but NOT CANCER. Once a person gets the big "C" they think every diagnosis will involve it. ( I'm a breast cancer survivor.)
Working on my next amigurami. Pics coming soon! :o)
We just started a new amigurumi crochet-along for Sir Stephen the Bunny! The pattern is free, and this cute, vintage inspired bunny is a fun and easy project.
I'm going to crochet him!
He's a real cutie!! :o)
He is so cute!!! I don't know if I'll join the crochet-along this time (I'm in too many right now! lol) But I am looking forward to making him! I just downloaded the free ebook and can't wait to check it out :D Thanks so much for posting this here!
Your Lovey turned out so very cute!! I love the colors! I hadn't been able to decide on colors for mine and so I haven't made her yet... I got inspired the other day though and I think I know what I want to do now (sort of).
I still haven't finished the Minnie Mouse Beanies.... No ears yet! lol But I did finally finish this cute little ami Robot "Love Machine" that I started making before Valentine's Day! I am really happy with how he turned out too!
He's from NeedleNoodles "Creepy Cute Crochet" book. Lots of fun!
(Edited to add the picture)
Very cute fishy!! Love those eyes!
She looks like an adorable Valentine Zombie!! :o)
I just love her! :o)
Thank you :)
You know what I learned today? And I have to admit... I feel a bit silly sharing this, because I probably should have known all along. I just learned that amigurumi is worked in both loops!... I had been wondering why things I made, while they still looked cute, were coming out SO huge compared to the pattern. There were a few things I made that just didn't look quite right too. They weren't exactly round enough. Now I know! Thanks to a very helpful video I stumbled across on youtube while I was watching something else.
Anywho, I can't wait to make something new and have it come out the right size! lol Hope everyone here is having a good month :)
Don't feel silly. I know that Stacey Trock, the designer of August's Frankie the Lobster, crochets in the back loop only. Both ways of working the stitches have their benefits, but they do tend to create different sized projects. I love the organic nature of crochet, you can work the stitches in so many ways and places, but that does present its own problems.
Love your robot 'Love Machine'! The eyes really finish it off.......I've been sidetracked on this CAL, but here I am waiting for the magic hour to download the next one, ever so hopeful......
Make everyday a day to Crochet!
Patty
I'm here on time this month, but at 2:40 p.m. Eastern time, I'm not finding any download link for Ellie the Giraffe.
I'm not finding it either, perhaps on Monday?
I'm literally refreshing the page every hour.
