Hello everyone & greetings from Florida. I have been crocheting over thirty years. Like many of you I have crocheted afghans for each of my children & grandchildren.

Our church made 100 lap robes last year for a local nursing home. I made six of them. I just sent off a box to my granddaughter who is expecting a baby girl, Jade, May 1st, with a baby blanket, hat, sweater & booties that I crocheted.

I almost always have a project going. I expect to learn new things & find new patterns to try. Now & then I still find a pattern that I'm unable to understand the directions for! But, it's fun to try new things. The booties I made for my granddaughter were the first I have ever made. They came out pretty cute & I sent her four pair. I'm working on an afghan now for a raffle for our church's fall sale.

Blessings, Irish-Colleen   <><
