My wife finally got her latest patterns finished and posted to Treasured Heirlooms.  I know it's blatant commercialism, but I'm proud of her efforts!

They turned out great. I love the lace borders on the dresses. Congratulations to your wife!

Thanks!  She does really great work...  It takes forever, but that's mostly because everything has to be just right.  (although this one is a little reversed --- the first dress worked up into a really impressive pattern just from the random variegations in the yarn --- she actually re-did it with a less impressive version to avoid people possibly being disappointed)

These are beautiful!  Are they her own designs?  Some little girl will be thrilled to receive one of these dolls as a gift!

They're both wonderful. They make me want to go buy a couple dolls.

You have every right to be proud, your wife is very talented.

Thanks.  These patterns took, literally, months to work out.  Lots of R and D  (Rip it out and Do it again), writing the pattern down in detail, then making at least 2 copies to make sure the written pattern actually works when followed...  There's a huge amount of work that most people never see...
