I am looking to replace an old pattern from a fall issue of crochet world probably about 1979 to 1980/81. I lost it in a big move. It featured a kitchen witch and it was probably featured on the cover of the issue. I loved the pattern and made a ton of them and can't believe I lost it in the move. If someone has this pattern or could run me a copy off I would gladly pay for it.
Here's a link for a pattern I found: http://www.copdandsomuchmore.com/hallowcrowitch.html
and a few poems to go with it:
Poem 1:
Look who's landed in your kitchen Bringing fortune to your home It's me the lucky kitchen witch Your special little gnome
I'll end burnt pots I'll keep meals hot I'll do such magic chores For I'm your lucky kitchen witch Keep me safe by your kitchen door.
Poem 2:
I am a kitchen witch riding my broom Love and affection I bring to your room Pots boiling over are a thing of the past With my kind of magic good fortune will last!
Poem 3:
Nothing spills, nothing spoils Overcooks or overboils This kitchen witch upon her broom Brings love and luck to any room!
