looking for skirt pattern

i have cocheted a "block" coat that is hdc  each block is 15 rows with 12hdc in each block  i would like to make a "block" skirt out of the ton of yarn left   can someone suggest a ladies pattern i could use  thanks  GOD bless

I know you are not asking about granny squares being made into a skirt but if you google free granny square skirt patterns, there are a couple of sites that show how to put them together and one even has a waistband (though knitted) to go on the skirt. Perhaps the basic instructions may help you to put your blocks together in a similar manner.

I wouldn't wear a skirt made of worsted wait yarn, it may be heavy, and uncomfortable, what kind of yarn do you have?

I have a dress, and skirts beautiful patterns, but you must use something very light, and small hook.
