I am working on the On-the-Side Cardigan from Hip to Crochet and am stumped by the decrease directions (or lack of them!) Following the words as literally as possible, I end up with arm sockets that look nothing like the diagram. They are way to big. And on several rows I couldn't figure out how to start the row because the "slip stitch first 5 and then work in esst pattern" left me starting the row with a stitch I am supposed to skip.
Has anyone else encountered (and hopefully conquered) this problem?
I might know someone who can help you. She makes these sweaters all the time. If you go to Listia.com and look for her name: graceconyers You will see one of the sweaters she has created from this pattern. Just send her a message with your question and she will be able to walk you through it. I hope this helps. If not, I have her email address and I can let her know you are having problems.
