I found this pattern in an old magazine and it looks a bit like the Navajo Indian blanket (which has given me fits).  I seem to be doing OK with this one though.   My question is for rows 9 & 10.
"continue in same manner always moving long st over 1 st."
What exactly do they mean by always moving over 1 st? Which way?
Left or right? Each row?

Thank you for any help.

Hi Charlene,

Without the pattern, it is a little difficult to answer, but my guess would be that each row you would move the long stitch to the left one stitch. In the previous rows does the long stitch move? You are probably repeating that pattern. Good luck!

Best wishes,

Have you got a picture of the pattern?
