My husband's grandmother passed away 30+years ago, and while doing a clean out in my mother-in-laws house a decaying cardboard box was found with 50+ hexagon popcorn/pineapple pieces were found! plus 30+ hexagon pieces stitched together.  My mother-in-law thought it was suppose to be a tablecloth, but it could be a bedspread.  I am looking for some help doing the popcorn/pineapple stitch, and maybe a suggestion on what it could be and /or how to finish.  It is in really good shape. Only a couple of tiny age spots.   I have one piece which I am able to undo because it is coming undone on its own, so that will help.  Any help will be greatly appreciated, especially if I need to make more pieces.

After a little looking I have found the exact pattern.  It is a bedspread.  http://freevintagecrochet.com/print/1234
