  • Please help me identify this stitch and how to make it

Front of blanket Back of blanket This blanket dates from about 1960-70. I haven't counted but there are at least 25-30 colors It appears that whoever created it changed colors every 1-3 "stitches" and then tied the next color and left the threads hanging on the underside. The threads were...

  • Re: Looking for Care Bear pattern

Hi.. I am new to this forum and this thread was started quite some time ago so I am unsure if anyone checks (or even how these forums work), but I am looking for any care bear patterns. My Nan was an avid bear collector and loved to crochet and sew - she passed away almost 2 years ago, barely knowing...

  • Crochet Mood Blanket 2014

Is anyone else doing this? I didn't start at the beginning of the year. learned about it in February so that's when I started. I'm having fun with it --not just making my own squares but being inspired by what others are doing. If you haven't heard of it, you can find it with a google...

  • Re: Looking for a pattern to convert to a Iowa Cyclones afghan

I searched Google for Iowa State Cyclones and Iowa State Cyclones Logo to look at the Images. Some of them are fairly simple, and could be charted on graph paper to cross stitch on your afghan or worked right in to the crochet. Let us know if you find a logo you like. Best wishes

  • Circus and/or Clowns

I'm a little new here, but I'm hoping some of you more seasoned crocheters can help me out. I'm looking for any/every pattern I can get that is related to clowns or the circus. Toys, Blankets, appliques etc. Of course if you know of anything free, I'll always take that, but I don't...

  • Autumn Ribbons Afghan

Yeah! I just finished an afghan from my mothers old box of leftover yarns. It is pretty simple, but then again - so am I. LOL I am very excited. Next project will be to attempt either Country Bunny or Mario Brother from http://carolescrochet.angelfire.com/ I did their Batman and it was so easy so hopefully...

  • Re: Needless to say, this was

Ah, I'm so glad you posted this, because I ran into the same thing. It says "fasten off" at the end of every motif except A, but I can't imagine how I'd do the petals without breaking the yarn after the basic round. (I actually tried to do it without breaking it, thinking maybe...
