Since the preview of the Interweave Crochet Fall 2011 issue, there has been lots of interest in Betty's Tunisian Tee by Tram Nguyen. I quickly fell in love with this Tunisian top as well. So let's work on it together! Here is the pattern information as well as the proposed schedule. I am trying...

I have the bottom and neckline bands done and the sleeve seams finished. Now working on the sleeve bands before I set them in. This used a lot less yarn than I thought it would. I had 50g skeins so I doubled the amount needed in 100g skeins. I think when all is said and done I will only have used 40...

I also used a larger hook for my foundation row - I got to about row 4 and didn't like how it was looking so tinked all of it and started with an H hook for the foundation. As I mentioned before, I'm able to use the G hood for the body because it helps me size it up just perfectly to fit my,...

  • Re: The Official Petal Pullover Crochet-Along

i actually just picked up enough hobby lobby sport, in a very similar pale blue, a couple of weeks ago for this same sweater :) i was thinking since is is 100% acrylic, i would actually work smaller guage rather than "to fit", to give some room for acrylic stretch & growth. thoughts?

  • The Official Petal Pullover Crochet-Along

Last week the temperature in my house reached a sweltering 85 degrees. As I looked from my thermometer to my latest wool crochet project, I realized two things. First, I need a new air conditioner, and second, I need to start a new summer project. So I pulled out my Interweave Crochet Spring and Summer...

  • Sprout Chains Shawlette HELP!

Hi, i just picked up the pattern for the Sprout Chains Shawlette a few days ago. I got my Crochet So Fine book several months ago and absolutely LOVE it! I'm going to Italy in May and am currently using the trip as an excuse to make a very nice cover-up for those churchy-tourist attractions (no paper...
