  • Sprout Chains Shawlette HELP!

Hi, i just picked up the pattern for the Sprout Chains Shawlette a few days ago. I got my Crochet So Fine book several months ago and absolutely LOVE it! I'm going to Italy in May and am currently using the trip as an excuse to make a very nice cover-up for those churchy-tourist attractions (no paper...

  • Re: OFFICIAL SIDNEY'S SIDEWAYS SOCKS CAL

I've tried making crocheted socks before but never finished them because I either didn't understand the instructions or they just turned out looking ugly, so I was excited when I saw this pattern -- in fact, that's part of the reason why I had purchased the Accessories issue when it came...

  • Re: THE OFFICIAL MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S SHAWL CROCHET-ALONG

What a beautiful pattern! I've wanted to make this shawl ever since it was first published in Crochet. Now I'm ready to join you with 3 hanks of a considerably darker blue (marine) malabrigo lace which I'll wind tonight. This will be my first crocket-along and my most complex shawl to date...

  • Re: THE OFFICIAL OCEAN PEARLS CARDIGAN POST

Wow, I missed the start date but I really want to make this sweater with you all. I just downloaded the pattern and will be using the Paton Grace. I am on the final leg of making a really cute purse with it and I love it. I have also been using it in necklines of tee-shirts. Got to get crocheting!!!

  • Re: THE OFFICIAL OCEAN PEARLS CARDIGAN POST

I am definitely joining late, but I am finally on track. I found my issue of interweave crochet with the post it sticking out marking the sweater. I went stash diving and found a pretty iris color of sinfonia that I was able to gauge with an F hook. E was not large enough. The F is fine with rows and...
