i actually just picked up enough hobby lobby sport, in a very similar pale blue, a couple of weeks ago for this same sweater :) i was thinking since is is 100% acrylic, i would actually work smaller guage rather than "to fit", to give some room for acrylic stretch & growth. thoughts?

I've recently learned how to knit & crochet by watching DVD how-to's. I long to have someone sit beside me & help me with the many things I'm stuck on ~ how to read a crochet pattern. How to crochet the second row (seem to have no problem crocheting the first row!), what to do about...

Hiya, I'm Sheyna. I'm new to the site and relatively new to crochet, having been a knitter since I was five and being a bit intimidated by crochet! But I'm mad about it now. I got into crochet so that I could have something to sell on my Etsy shop (http://www.etsy.com/shop/Sheynalew?ref=pr_shop_more...

I'm going to Italy in May and am currently using the trip as an excuse to make a very nice cover-up for those churchy-tourist attractions (no paper...

What an interesting stitch! One of the ways you tried was probably right but this is a dimensional stitch that may look strange to you if you've never done one before. Given that you have trouble with written instructions and I'm not an expert at writing instructions, I decided that a photo was...

Hello all. I love this site. I'm a mom of 4, love to crochet. Learned how to when I was 17, and this year, I've decided to stop looking so much for patterns, but to maybe start making a few of my own. I'm excited to be able to start contributing. I am sharing my first pattern, that really...
