That yarn sounds lovely! Depending on how much of the yarn you have you could make a scarf or a shawl with it. Or if it coordinates with something else that you are making, you could use it as an accent. I like to use fine yarns on large hooks to give a nice lacy look shawl.

I too used to have sad pom poms. The secret is to trim more than you think you should. See my pics I posted. I made four pom poms all the same way so that you could see the evolution. I used to stop around step 2 and the pom pom was so loose and floppy. Now I keep trimming and rolling it in my hands...

Hi, I have a pattern for a small purse that calls for using wool. Is there really a difference between the elasticity of wool and acrylic? Will the wool crochet tighter and not stretch like acrylic?
