Crocheted scarf for Toddler in purple cotton yarn

I made this Crocheted scarf for my 2 y/o granddaughter. It has a small ruffle on 3 edges and a straight long side that would go around her neck. It matches the poncho that I made. I uploaded a picture earlier.

Multi-colored scarf that is done in continues crochet technique. Yarn is not cut to change motif or color. It is crocheted from beginning to end with the exception of attaching a new ball of yarn when working yarn runs out.

The yarn used is I Love This Yarn, Limelight and Fiesta. This was the first time that I had crocheted a scarf using bright colors. I must admit...it turned out great and was happy with the results. Also to finish it out, I attempted and succeeded with my first flower crochet of any type.

Here is a lace scarf I made by adapting a curtain tie-back pattern in an old Magic Crochet magazine, freestyle. I added the triple-pineapple ends, and made it symmetrical by starting in the centre back and crocheting out to each end. It is made in size 10 Cebelia thread, with a 1.75mm hook. This is typical of what I like to do: get some inspiration from other patterns, then make something different that incorporates those elements.

A lady bought it from my Etsy shop as a gift for her mother.
