A free PDF pattern to download is available under the Patterns Tab. It's called 'Fools the Eye - Mocha Colorway'.  This is a colorstudy of my first pattern 'Fools the Eye' with the same Paton SWS striping colors & Lion Brand Suede in Mocha. The LB Suede replaces the soild color black yarn in the pattern.

As you can see- the results look very different.

oh, such beautiful colors! Like the Utah desert. I love it when the yarn, colors, gauge, and stitch pattern all come together in synchronicity. Delicious! And thanks for your notes, love to hear from the creator--with a little 'c'!   Wink.

Thanks for your lovely comments. I can see the colors of the desert and canyons in my choices. Not so long ago I watched some Nat Geo programs on these areas of the USA. Maybe they subconciously inspired me! :)

I like the richness you get by mixing the cooler violets in. This reminds me of the richness I get in art with my chalk pastels when I lay cool blues and violets under my oranges and the richness and depth that I get with that. I like the idea of being able to do the same thing with crochet and mixing colors.
