This clever little bag is constructed in single crochet with the bag and flap worked separately, then joined and worked in the round. The single stripe accents this interesting construction. This is a great project for beginning crocheters, as well as a great way to venture into fulling or felting.

Finished Size: 8" wide and 16¾" high, not including strap, before felting; 7" wide and 6" high, not including strap or flap, 14" high including flap, after felting.

Yarn: Brown Sheep Lanaloft (100% wool; 160 yd [146 m]/4 oz [100 g]): #LL 95 cherry splash (A), #LL 78 celery (B), 1 skein each.

Hook: Sizes H/8 (5 mm) and J/10 (6 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Notions: Stitch markers (m); yarn needle.

Gauge: 11 sts and 12 rows = 4" in sc with smaller hook.
