This great spring-to-summer piece has a fitted upper bodice and a draping body, giving it a romantic look that is easy to dress up or down. The upper bodice is worked in the round, then split into front and back and the body is worked downward from the foundation of the upper bodice. Pattern includes instructions for plus size. Intermediate skills are recommended.

Finished Size: (37½, 41½, 44, 47¾, 50¼, 54)" bust circumference, 30½ (32¾, 35, 37½, 41, 43½, 46)" over-bust circumference and 23 (23, 23½, 23½, 24, 24, 24½)" in length. Garment shown measures 35" at bust, modeled with 1½" ease.

Yarn: South West Trading Company Bamboo (100% bamboo; 250 yd [229 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #151 lilac, 4 (4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6) skeins.

Hook: Sizes E/4 (3.5 mm) and G/6 (4 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Notions: Stitch marker (m); yarn needle.

Gauge: 21 sts and 20 rows = 4" in hdc with smaller hook; 25½ sts and 11 rows = 4" in openwork patt with larger hook.

  

Errata:

Rows 18-43: Rep Rows 16-17-17 sts.
All Sizes:
Work even until armhole measure 7 ¼ (7 ¼, 7 ½, 7 ¾, 8, 8 ¼, 8 ½)", ending with RS row.

Hello, where is the pattern for this Abalone shell? I'm logged in and a current and continuous subscriber but can't seem to find where the Spring 2010 patterns are available.

I'm only missing the first page actually. I have pages 47, 48 and 49, but need the first page 46? of the pattern.

Also, the errata listed above is the same instructions that are printed on page 48 so I'm a bit confused about that too :-)
