This cardigan is a fun and classy spring layer. The unique construction, worked in griddle stitch, makes a lightweight, swingy fabric with excellent drape. Pattern includes instructions for plus size. Intermediate skills are recommended.

Finished Size: 30 (34, 38, 42, 46, 50, 54)" bust circumference, buttoned and 19 (21¾, 21¾, 24¼, 24¼, 25½, 25½)" long at center back. Sweater shown measures 34".

Yarn: Wisdom Yarns Poems Sock (75% superwash wool, 25% nylon; 459 yd [420 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #959 grape arbor, 3 (3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6) skeins. Yarn distributed by Universal Yarn.

Hook: Size G/6 (4 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Notions: Stitch marker (m); row counter (optional but strongly recommended); yarn needle; 2 lightweight 1 1/8" (28 mm) buttons.

Gauge: 18 sts and 18 rows = 4" in griddle patt after blocking.
